Hi Home Asisstant community. I wonder if anyone would help me create integration for the Huawei PV system? I know all about the inverters and API accounts for retrieving data so if you would like to help me code the
If you read my recent messages, there is way to connect to the modbus interface from local lan, so you don''t really need to connect to the wifi access point of the inverter. And if you use the Sdongle, this is even easier. I use the integration of @wlcrs GitHub - wlcrs/huawei_solar: Home Assistant integration for Huawei Solar inverters via Modbus
If you know how to program integrations for Home Assistant, and know how to do API''s this should be very easy. You call a adress with login and then get a token. With this token you then ping what you want and get the values.
I managed to integrate the SUN2000 5KTL inverter via Fusion Solar in Home Assistant, but the data comes with a delay of up to 10 minutes. I bought a dongle and the installer installed it. I

Looking for v1.0.0 testers I''ve polished the integration in the past weekend, and am looking for people willing to test the beta-version. I expect the sensor-part to be very stable already, but am not formally releasing it because of the new configurable parameter-entities that need some testing. I''m especially looking for users with more advanced setups with multiple
I am new in Home Assistant and struggle to setup all the Huawei Solar Sensors. I installed the Huawei Solar integration with HACS and this is working so far. I updated Firmware Versions on the Dongle and Inverter to the right one.
Used Emillv2/huawei_solar configuration instruction to get connected from HA. I created a dashboard to monitor solar production. image 1276×937 56 KB. 2 Likes. verjaak January 2, 2022, 2:29pm but when I try to setup the intergration in Home Assistant it always says "failed to connect to device, is the host correct?". So no connection
Hello together, I am new in Home Assistant and struggle to setup all the Huawei Solar Sensors. I installed the Huawei Solar integration with HACS and this is working so far. I updated Firmware Versions on the Dongle and Inverter to the right one. So I see all the Standard Entities and they are showing some realistic data. To create some useful Dashboards I wanted
I have buyed a Smartlogger 3000 A01 EU for my Huawei inverters (3 as a cascade with one Luna battery) while Iam planed to add one or two Huawei inverters. But I use HomeAssistant and search for a smart way to integrate my inverters and battery in HA.
For the house power consumption, I do: house power consumption = inverter active power - power meter active power But for some reason this gives a very noisy approximation. For example, in the graph below, the sun came through the clouds between 5:30 and 5:45, so the inverter power increases significantly. However no extra device was turned

This project will provide you with a set of custom sensors also referred to as the "Huawei Solar PEES package" to be used in Home Assistant. These custom sensors will calculate all the power and energy flows of your Huawei FusionSolar PV installation with Battery (without the corrections we see in FusionSolar).
Home Assistant integration for Huawei Solar inverters via ModbusTCP - GitHub - wlcrs/huawei_solar: Home Assistant integration for Huawei Solar inverters via ModbusTCP. On this site you have manual how to install it. Try port 502 and slave=1. farkas16 (Farkas16) March 13, 2022, 6:37am
I have a problem with the Huawei Solar integration and the HA version upgrades. Every time I update the system, the integration stop to communicate with the inverter. I''ve reinstalled the integration without result. Usually it happens when I install a major version like 2023.12.0 from 2023.11.3.
Hi All, I''m very new to any custom coding and am trying to get my solar/batteries all setup and working with HA. I am also with Octopus energy. If someone can pls help as the Huawei ''fusion Solar'' integration seems really confusing with multiple items for the same things and dead entities that never seem to update. I would love to have it all showing correctly on

It works! Maximum respect! I can't connect Home Assistant via Huawei Solar, although it works correctly via Fusion Solar.
This integration exposes the information and functions made available by Huawei Solar inverters directly via one of its Modbus interfaces in Home Assistant. Looking for more information? The Wiki contains in-depth documentation and support materials. HA Energy Dashboard Services
The "Huawei Solar integration" does provide the sensor.input_power_with_efficiency_loss which takes the inverter efficiency into account. I have not tested this sensor, but my assessment is that it may cause inaccuracies and/or errors due to the step-by-step adjustment of the efficiency.
The custom sensors in the "Huawei Solar PEES package" are all based on only three types of power sensors provided by the "Huawei Solar integration by wlcrs" - this makes these custom sensors robust and the margin for error is minimized. You also need sensors to provide you with current electrical prices.
Hi all, For anyone that has a Huawei solar system - you know there’s many different integration options including MODBUS TCP mode ECHONET LITE KIOSK MODE NORTHBOUND API Other custom integrations to get the smart meter
The "Huawei Solar PEES package" include efficiency calculations for the Huawei SUN2000 L1 and M1 models. The package will work with other inverter models, but efficiency calculations will be done on basis of the efficiency calculations set up for these two models.
The European energy storage market is booming with Germany leading residential adoption (+58% YoY) thanks to €500/kWh subsidies. Italy's new tax credits drive 5.2GWh commercial deployments, while UK grid-scale projects exceed 8GWh with 2-hour duration systems. Key selection criteria: German-certified safety (VDE-AR-E 2510), 10+ year warranties, and VPP readiness. Top-performing products include Sonnen's hybrid inverters (98% efficiency) and BYD's Blade Battery (12,000 cycles @80% DoD). For snowy regions like Scandinavia, consider Huawei's -30°C compatible systems. France mandates carbon footprint declarations - Sungrow's ISO-14067 certified solutions gain preference.
For European homeowners, 5-10kWh systems with 3-phase compatibility are ideal. Top picks: 1) Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh, 97% round-trip efficiency) for smart home integration; 2) LG Chem RESU Prime for compact urban installations; 3) SMA Sunny Boy Storage for retrofit projects. Critical features: EU-made battery cells (exempt from CBAM tariffs), dynamic tariff optimization (like Octopus Energy integration), and fire-safe LiFePO4 chemistry. Southern Europe demands 85%+ depth of discharge capability, while Nordic markets require -25°C operation. Always verify CEI 0-21 compliance for Italian grid connection and EnWG certification for German feed-in.
