PV DC negatives seem to be common internally. Other AIO''s such as Sol-Ark etc. need to have the PV negatives 100% isolated. I''m sure Midnite would still recommend keeping negatives isolated, but it is just something I found interesting. According to the spec sheet, it appears that Midnite would not call this unit transformerless!
