The CIPREL CCGT Power Plant Phase V is 390MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Lagunes, Ivory Coast. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. Siemens Energy is expected to be the supplier
900 tons of equipment were transported by teams from Bolloré Transport & Logistics for the construction of phase 4 of the Azito power plant in Ivory Coast. Including among others a turbine and a generator, that were moved by Marine
mso-bidi-font-family:Arial">The Azito power plant, owned by Azito Energie S.A., consists of two GT13E2 gas turbines operating in single cycle mode and is located close to the country''s capital Abidjan. The plant provides 288 MW of electric power to the grid and accounts for approximately 35 percent of the total electricity production in the Ivory Coast. For the Samra III power plant,
The company Atinkou was created ad hoc for the implementation of this important development project in Ivory Coast. It will result in the construction of a combined cycle power plant, i.e. producing electricity through two turbines. The first one runs on a fuel (natural gas) and the second is a steam turbine. Both turbines operate simultaneously.
A number of micro turbines generators have recently been announced as currently commercially available for include the turbine, compressor, generator, and power electronics to deliver the power to the grid. These small conducted to determine compliance with South Coast Air Quality Management District Rule 2005 for NOx emissions
Siemens Energy, together with the Spanish EPC contractor TSK, will supply and install an F-class gas turbine at Atinkou''s new combined-cycle power plant, under construction in Jacqueville, Ivory Coast. Owned by Atinkou, part of Eranove Group, the CCGT will have an installed capacity of 390 MW and is due operational in late 2022.
As part of the most recent Grupel Special Projects, we may highlight two (2) power generators provided to a power plant in Ivory Coast. The project supplies energy to the CIPREL ( Compagnie Ivoirienne de Production d''Electricité ) power plant, the largest and most powerful one in the country, composed of three (3) gas turbines and one (1
The highly versatile gas turbine generator sets are used for a variety of baseload and emergency power generation applications – from fixed and floating installations offshore, to onshore oil fields, on rooftops, and integrated into buildings for simple cycle
People have been tapping the energy in flowing water for centuries, first for mechanical power, and, in the last hundred years, for electricity. Early applications included milling, pumping, and driving machinery. Unlike wind and sun, the right hydro resource can be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This allowed pioneers to run []
Azito power plant''s phase four expansion details. The 253MW new combined-cycle unit being built on the existing plant site will comprise a GT13E2 gas turbine, one heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) with bypass stack, one double pressure steam turbine generator, one air-cooled condenser and associated systems supplied by General Electric (GE).
The plant provides 288 MW of electric power to the grid and accounts for approximately 35 % of the total electricity production in the Ivory Coast. For the Samra III power plant, owned by Samra Electric Power Co., Alstom has already provided two GT13E2 gas turbines and will commission the third turbine, generator and auxiliaries by summer 2013.
Turbogenerator Redefining Portable Power Use The turbogenerator platform brings a new class of micro gas-turbine generators to the market. February 19, 2020 09:30 AM Eastern Standard Time UAV Turbines announced the launch of its lightweight, military-grade microturbine generator platform for on-demand electrical power ranging from 3kW to 40kW.
This power station is equipped with a Siemens SGT-4000F turbine, capable of burning up to 30% Hydrogen as part of its mix of fuels. The project is estimated to generate up to 2875 GWh of electricity annually to power approximately one million homes.
This system consists of a compressor, combustion chamber, turbine, and generator. The turbine is a single-stage axial impulse turbine with a rotor diameter of 10 mm, made of stainless steel using

Hughes Hubbard & Reed was engaged to advise the Government of Ivory Coast on the project’s financing. Spanish construction and engineering company TSK received a contract worth more than €250m ($296.37m) from Eranove to build the gas power plant for the project.
A producer of water and electricity in Africa, Eranove entered a concession agreement with the Government of Ivory Coast for the power plant in 2018. The agreement covered financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant.
Gas for the power plant is sourced from the Devon fields (Lion/Panthère), the Foxtrot field and the CNR fields (Espoir/Baobab), with Foxtrot field being the primary gas supplier. The plant also includes an electrical switchyard operated by Compagnie Ivoirienne d’Electricité (CIE), the National Ivorian Electricity Distribution Company.
The existing 453MW combined-cycle power plant is installed with two Alstom GT13E2 gas turbines, two heat recovery steam generators, a 140MW steam turbine generator, one steam condenser with an associated closed loop and an air-cooled cooling water system.

The 453MW plant was developed in three phases, under a build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) scheme. The Côte d’Ivoire Government contracted the construction of the Azito thermal power plant in 1998 to Azito Energie, a consortium comprised of IPS-WA, ABB, and Electricité de France (EDF).
The European energy storage market is booming with Germany leading residential adoption (+58% YoY) thanks to €500/kWh subsidies. Italy's new tax credits drive 5.2GWh commercial deployments, while UK grid-scale projects exceed 8GWh with 2-hour duration systems. Key selection criteria: German-certified safety (VDE-AR-E 2510), 10+ year warranties, and VPP readiness. Top-performing products include Sonnen's hybrid inverters (98% efficiency) and BYD's Blade Battery (12,000 cycles @80% DoD). For snowy regions like Scandinavia, consider Huawei's -30°C compatible systems. France mandates carbon footprint declarations - Sungrow's ISO-14067 certified solutions gain preference.
For European homeowners, 5-10kWh systems with 3-phase compatibility are ideal. Top picks: 1) Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh, 97% round-trip efficiency) for smart home integration; 2) LG Chem RESU Prime for compact urban installations; 3) SMA Sunny Boy Storage for retrofit projects. Critical features: EU-made battery cells (exempt from CBAM tariffs), dynamic tariff optimization (like Octopus Energy integration), and fire-safe LiFePO4 chemistry. Southern Europe demands 85%+ depth of discharge capability, while Nordic markets require -25°C operation. Always verify CEI 0-21 compliance for Italian grid connection and EnWG certification for German feed-in.
